"One of the best events I've had the honor of being a part of."

"I just wanted to say thank you to all the people at SADfest and most importantly the ones who helped make it happen. You're all so amazing and it makes me so happy that I got to be a part of this. I even conquered a big fear today by going by myself and letting myself meet some new people. Thank you to everyone in this really supportive community. I heard stories from really brave people and good music, met people, even became closer to people, etc. Honestly one of the best weekends that I've had so far so keep up the good work guys and thank you for such an awesome experience."

"There are literally no words to describe how I feel. First off, thank you to EVERYONE who came out and supported this. Secondly, all the bands killed it all weekend long. Everyone gave all the energy right back. Third, the biggest thanks and love for Mari Beth and Jose Martinez, without you two, none of this could have happened. Much love and respect for everyone. See you all at the next show, and let's make 2016 SADfest even bigger!!"

Chris Tomasello

"I'm so glad I have all these wonderful people in my life. I don't know what I would be without them. Thank you so much. Blood doesn't make you family, respect and loyalty do. And that's exactly what you guys are to me. You're my family, my extended family. People I can go to when I need someone by my side and people who can come to me when they are in need of a friend. This event taught me to speak out and tell my story don't keep things bottled up. Each and every one of us go through hard times some may be still going through hard times but tell someone let it out. Seek help for yourself and others. And again I'm so happy to have you all in my family in my life. Thank you I love you."

Janine

"Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support such an amazing cause! This festival was truely incredible in raising awareness and offering phonaminal support! Volunteering for this event was the best decision I've made in my entire life. Just to see everyone come together as a family and make a difference honestly warms my heart! I love you all and can't wait to do this again next year!!!"

Alison Collins

"So inspired by the massive wave of passion from every band that played tonight. I wish I could be at every night this weekend. Music saves my life every day. Bands, friends, and family... keep fueling the fire within people like me who need reassurance that there's hope in staying alive and pursuing happiness at the end of even the hardest and impossible days. Good luck to all those involved and working hard the next couple days of the festival!!"

Amanda Hyrns

"I just want to thank everyone for their love and support today. Today was filled with a bunch of firsts, not just for me, but for everyone. Just know, we are a FAMILY. Nothing will ever change that. If any one of you feel like you need someone to talk to, this is the place to do it. I'm so proud of everyone that went up on stage and shared their story. Whether you believe it or not, it makes a difference."

Andrew Worrell

"I just want you all to know how much every single one of you are appreciate and loved. This isn't just a local music scene. It's a family. I want to give a special shout out to Jose Martinez, Mari Beth ,and Herimel Fernando Colon for all of the hard work you have put into this to make this event possible. This is way more then just a music festival and I'm so incredibly proud to say I'm a part of it! These shows and the support of this family saved my life and I honestly hope it saves another. Love you all!"

Alison Collins

"I want to thank Grandaire Booking for organizing a 3 day event. Not a festival you may be thinking. No drinking, no drugs, no trouble. Just the most amazing people. Generous, happy, friendly, and kind. (SADfest) suicide, addiction, depression, mental health… and one of the worst of all, heroin [opiate] awareness. It was 3 days of awesome bands great food a lot of very talented artistic vendors. After each band volunteers went up on stage and spent a few minutes (me included) to tell their stories of depression, suicide, drug abuse, and everybody around the stage were so respectful they stood there as if they were frozen in time. And each person got a wonderful round of applause for the courage to go up on stage in front of people and tell such personal stories about themselves their friends or family. I know there's many people that made this event happen and I'm really sorry I don't have too many names but you know who you are. You all did an amazing job and thank you so much to Maribeth for the fate of our meeting and inviting me to something amazing. it truly was uplifting to know that I'm not the only one. I will see you next week and a few weeks after for our next shows. peace and love to all of you."
